Killing Joke's drummer Paul filled in for our Paul on this because he couldn't make it. Paul (Fergie) was in my first band, Beowulf which also had Martin, Sabir (Majid's brother), Jeff Boothe on bass and me on Vox. The song is a lament for a working boy who gets up early to work in a Warehouse then comes home and hits the pub in the evening returning in an inebriated state to fall asleep in the chair watching the TV. That was pretty much my life then apart from the band and songwriting.
